  • The year I started triathlon​

  • 2nd place in the European Olympic Distance Triathlon Championships

  • 2nd place in the World Championships in the Olympic Distance Triathlon.

  • 1st place in the Nice Triathlon

  • 2nd place at the ITU Long Distance Championship.​​

  • That year I became the first European to win the IRONMAN® World Championship in Hawaï, beating the existing record from Mark Allen by three minutes.

  • Record on doing the fastest IRONMAN® Triathlon ever, doing 7:50:27 in IRONMAN® Europe in Roth

  • 1st place in the World Championships Long Distance Triathlon in Nice​

  • 2nd place in the 1998 IRONMAN® World Championship in Hawai

  • Became ITU Long Distance World Champion

  • 1st place on the IRONMAN® World Championship in Hawaii for the second time

  • 1st place on the IRONMAN® Malaysia

  • 1st place on the IRONMAN® Malaysia

  • Now, my focus is on coaching and lactate testing
